"Oil and Gas" National One Network "Construction Implementation Plan" was issued by the National Energy Administration in March this year, aiming to refine the implementation of medium and long-term oil and gas pipeline network planning and five-year oil and gas development planning pipeline construction tasks.
Ma Yongsheng, Chairman of Sinopec, said that the "West-to-East Hydrogen Transmission" starts in Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and ends in Beijing. The pipeline has a total length of more than 400 kilometers. It is my country's first trans-provincial, large-scale, long-distance The pure hydrogen pipeline. After the completion of the pipeline, it will be used to replace the existing fossil energy hydrogen production in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, vigorously alleviate the problem of the mismatch between supply and demand of green hydrogen in my country, and have a strategic demonstration and leading role in the construction of my country's cross-regional hydrogen transportation pipeline network in the future. "The capacity of the first phase of the pipeline is 100000 tons/year, with a long-term improvement potential of 500000 tons/year reserved. At the same time, many ports will be reserved along the line to facilitate access to potential hydrogen sources." Ma Yongsheng said that in the future, Sinopec can rely on the "west-east hydrogen transmission" pipeline to build branch lines and hydrogenation mother stations to help the construction of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen energy corridor and the realization of the "double carbon" goal in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
Ma Yongsheng said that this project will provide a demonstration solution for the cross-provincial application of green hydrogen in western China. Green hydrogen refers to hydrogen produced from renewable energy such as wind energy and light energy, and is regarded as one of the most promising clean energy sources. Inner Mongolia is rich in wind and light resources, and has a unique advantage in developing green hydrogen. How to more efficiently and conveniently transport green hydrogen from Inner Mongolia and even western China to the regions with strong market demand in the east has always been a bottleneck restricting the development of green hydrogen industry.
"Hydrogen pipeline can realize large-scale, long-distance transportation of hydrogen, and take into account the economy. Sinopec has already laid out the Ordos scenery integration green hydrogen demonstration project in Inner Mongolia, and plans to build a large-scale green electricity green hydrogen production project in Wulanchabu City. Through the establishment of an integrated hydrogen industry development model of scenery power generation-green electricity hydrogen production-hydrogen gas pipeline transmission-refining and transportation hydrogen, the demonstration layout of the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy industry production, storage, transmission and utilization will be realized."
